This delightful detached bungalow boasts a spacious and well-lit interior, exuding a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like a home away from home. The cozy living room offers the perfect retreat for evening relaxation, featuring comfortable seating and a Smart TV with Netflix access. The kitchen is thoughtfully designed for socializing, equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals. You can savour your culinary creations at the generously sized glass dining table, all while enjoying views of the garden. Both bedrooms overlook the front garden and are elegantly decorated in sophisticated colours. The master bedroom indulges with a king-size bed, a chaise longue, a Smart TV, and an ensuite shower room complete with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom provides twin beds (can be made into a Super King bed on request)  and its own Smart TV. Completing the accommodation is a family bathroom with a bath and shower over. Outside, you can bask in the sun within the spacious enclosed garden, furnished with ample outdoor seating for delightful alfresco dining experiences. For those balmy summer evenings, you can even ignite the chiminea to enhance your relaxation.

Happy Days enjoys an ideal location, just a short stroll from the village centre, which is home to a variety of independent shops and eateries. A brief car journey will take you to the breathtaking sandy, surfing beaches of Saunton and Croyde. Saunton Sands, in particular, boasts an expansive 3-mile stretch of golden sandy beach, bordered by the inspiring sand dunes of Braunton Burrows. This spot is a magnet for surfers and dog walkers throughout the year. There is also the Championship golf course at Saunton.  This is regularly voted as one of the best courses in the UK, with two 18-hole links courses, both with spectacular scenery, which can be enjoyed throughout the year.  If you’re willing to venture a bit further, you’ll discover the award-winning Woolacombe Bay beach, the charming harbourside of Ilfracombe, and the wonders of Exmoor National Park, each offering unforgettable experiences for day trips. Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £150, which is payable with the final balance of your holiday, ten weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 10 working days of your departure.

We thought that the pre-arrival communication was excellent – including the online guidebook which was incredibly comprehensive and covered every detail. The space itself, decor etc was all brilliant – having the washer dryer was so handy, as well as a washing line. Lots basics were provided too, plentiful teabags, coffee, dishwasher tabs. Also a bottle of milk waiting for us in the fridge – thank you! The appliances were all in great condition and were easy to use. The showers were fantastic. We enjoyed the garden, it felt very peaceful and private, and there was lots of seating. The children’s toy selection was excellent – especially the brio train set! The location of the property is excellent, just a few mins by car to Saunton Sands beach, and a lovely walk into the centre of Braunton, which has cafes, shops etc. Easy to drive to Croyde and other surrounding beaches, villages etc.”

“A lovely property which clearly maintains a family theme. Large bedrooms and a cosy lounge, with a fabulous and airy kitchen dining area which opens out onto the patio. Bathrooms are modern and very clean with great showers and the towels were lovely and fluffy! The garden is a perfect size with great seating and cushions; real sun trap and not overlooked, we enjoyed some very leisurely afternoons unwinding with a good book and a glass or two. Location is ideal; nice and quiet yet a pleasant walk into town for a great chippy supper or a nosey around some of the fabulous little independent shops. Short drive to the beach and Burrows which are gorgeous locations for letting your dogs go bananas (responsibly of course!). Highly recommended and with great access to both the local highlights along with the main roads to south Devon or further into Cornwall. Simply put, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and our pair of dogs also had a wonderful time. Happy Days indeed!”

It has a great location – a short and pleasant stroll to the nearest town of Brauton, where there are great restaurants and shops, and a 5 min easy drive to Saunton Sands. We also spent a day in Croyde which is also very close by.   The garden is sheltered and sunny and has all the amenities you need – plenty of seating, a BBQ and space for children to play. The beds were very comfy, the kitchen well equipped and plenty of hot water for everyone.  Good off street parking, although the street was also quiet enough to park on too.”
