The elevated position of the property provides spectacular sea and countryside views, with all of the main rooms facing the ocean. No matter when you come, Seascape delivers all year round – undeniably stunning in the summer, the house is also a treat in the winter when guests can marvel at the rough waves rolling in through the 23ft wide picture window.

The property has five bedrooms and a great living space, amply equipped for a family holiday.   On the ground floor there is a spacious living/dining area that has a stone fireplace with electric wood burner effect heater, as well as wide patio doors for easy access to a raised sandstone patio and decked area; the ideal place for an alfresco family evening meal. A good sized kitchen is at the back of the property and a door leads out to a sloping rear garden which has rough grass and is enclosed for pets. On the first floor there are 3 further bedrooms, including the spacious master bedroom which benefits from an ensuite bathroom, built in wardrobes and balcony.  There is also an additional seating area on the first floor that has access to the balcony, creating the perfect place to sit back and enjoy the spectacular views.   A steep private drive and hill lead down to the beach and also to the centre of the village – both within 5 minutes walk – where visitors can explore the independent shops, bars and restaurants of Woolacombe.

Seascape is ideally positioned to take advantage of Woolacombe’s award winning beach, renowned for the excellent surf and stunning coves and beaches along the headland.  The village centre is right next to the glorious three mile stretch of golden sandy beach and provides a great selection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.  The village offers all you could need for a fun filled family holiday. For those that like to explore a bit more, then you also have easy access to scenic paths towards Mortehoe and the National Trust headland of Baggy Point.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure.

Driveway up to the house is steep but helps with privacy. Walkable into woolacombe town and beach as long as steep driveway not an issue. Very memorable trip thanks to the lovely house. Would stay again.

This house had everything you could wish for, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, and some basics for preparing your own meals. There are plenty of games and puzzles to keep you busy once the sun goes down, and the telescopes and binoculars are perfect for spotting dolphins. “House has been furnished to a beautiful standard and very clean. Such an incredible view, we mostly walked or explored a beach in the morning and had lazy afternoons enjoying the view. Had everything we needed, including large saucepans for big family meals and a grippy bath mat for the toddler. Showers were excellent, great to have over bath and walk in for our elders. Location was perfect, a quiet spot (in March anyway), town a short walk down the hill and Woolacombe beach and Barricane Beach a short walk away too (both are excellent). Optional stair gates and toys and books suitable for a toddler were very much enjoyed and appreciated, he loved running off to the wardrobe and bringing us back a new book to read. Wonderful to be allowed to bring the dog to such a beautiful home, and she had a welcome biscuit! She enjoyed the local beaches and was allowed in all the cafes and pubs we visited.
