Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, there's plenty to explore: the quaint villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, the long beaches at Woolacombe and Saunton Sands, and all the quieter corners in between.
North Devon is a World Surfing Reserve with some of the best beaches in the UK, and on the days the surf isn't up, a paddleboard does just as well. There's also the South West Coast Path — over 90 miles of it between Hartland and Exmoor — and the 180-mile Tarka Trail for walking and cycling.
